Let me just start out by saying “I’ve been missing you, West coast!” After spending a few years on the East side it was time for us to head back. So we made our move form North Carolina to Roseville, CA while stopping on the way to explore and visit family. Road trips are fun, don’t get me wrong but 40 hours make your butt hurt like no other 😀
Anyway, I wanted to share a few photos with you from our trip with some of these you can actually purchase here
Our first stop was at Joshua tree national park. If you haven’t been there yet, you must. The size of these rocks is unbelievable when you’re standing next to them. Here’s Andrew (my husband), to help you see the proportions.
Sunset was pretty amazing, I must say…
After a pretty rough night in a tent, despite our “fellow campers” next door busting Bon Iver all night we got up at 3 a.m. to watch the sunrise over the Cholla Cactus Garden. It all was worth it for this shot alone 🙂
For our second stop, we made our way down to San diego to visit and stay with my sister and her husband for a few days. It was so good to catch up and be in the back seat for a change. We went to watch the sunset at a near by beach while checking out the city. It’s super cute!

See you later San Diego!
This has been a fun journey but I’m happy to say we finally made it to Roseville, CA. After a 7 day trip we’ve reached a place that we will call home. At least for now 🙂 Because really, who knows what the future will bring…
